da receives until February 13, 2026 applications for the Journalist Fellowship Program 2026–2027. The program will select around 30 journalists from around the world for a 3 or 6 month immersion in .

In addition to the monthly course fee, scholarship holders receive a monthly stipend of £2,000 (around R$14,000) and round-trip air tickets, in addition to visa expenses.

The scholarships are aimed at mid-career reporters and editors with at least five years of experience. Freelancers can apply. During their stay, participants cannot carry out paid work.

The program does not require a formal English proficiency test, but requires sufficient command of the language to follow activities and debates.

Activities begin in October 2026, January 2027 or April 2027, depending on the academic calendar. Scholarship recipients must remain in the city during the academic period. They can take short trips, as long as they do not coincide with mandatory commitments.

Throughout their stay, each participant develops a project linked to their own career, their original newsroom or the journalistic sector. At the end of each quarter, fellows organize a symposium with presentations and debates on the topics discussed.
