The Prince and Princess of Wales showed a never-before-seen photo on Valentine’s Day. The black and white photograph of Prince William and Princess Catherine was taken in April last year in Anmere, Norfolk by photographer Josh Shinnerwrites .
The PHOTO was posted on the couple’s social media on February 14 – a special but commercial day for lovers around the world. “Happy Valentine’s Day,” they wished in a joint Instagram shot of Kate and William. It’s the second year the couple have publicly celebrated the day, after also sharing a photo in 2025.
The photo shared last year was from a video released in September 2024 when the princess announced she had finished cancer treatment. In the photo, the princess was smiling and the prince was kissing her on the cheek. Last year’s Christmas card had a family portrait on it sat William and Catherine on the lush grass with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The Christmas card also marked another year in Catherine’s gradual return to public life as she continued her recovery from cancer and chemotherapy.
