Some five months after her husband’s cold-blooded murder, she appears to have overcome grief and mourning and transformed into a public figure many of her critics describe as a “cheerful widow”.
Her public appearances at mass events, dressed in rhinestones and accompanied by fireworks and rap stars, her participation in parties in the company of billionaire donors and her interviews with television networks, do not help to overturn the negative image that has now been consolidated for the majority of conservative supporters of the organization founded by her husband.
Let us remind you that Turning Point USA (ТПUSA), is a non-profit organization with a conservative orientation, which was founded by Charlie Kirk, in 2012. According to the founding declaration, the main mission of the organization is the creation of student groups, which will promote the traditional way of life, patriotism, capitalism, as the most successful economic system and the American constitutional tradition.
The organization has an estimated 3,500 student groups in colleges and high schools, making it the largest conservative student movement in the US. With offshoots such as TPUSA Faith, which focuses on religion, and Turning Point Action, which aims more at political action, the organization is a major lobbyist in America’s political affairs.
Left/progressive circles often characterize it as a far-right formation, creating a toxic climate in American universities, while accusing it of excessive connection with the MAGA movement and President Trump.
However, at the moment, it is the largest conservative student organization, with a strong presence on social networks, strong political activity and no one doubts that it played a decisive role in the re-election of Trump.
The organization’s annual revenue exceeds $80 million, and according to American media, its revenue has seen a significant increase since the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Many estimate that within five months of his assassination, the organization’s revenue reached $250 million.
A few days ago, the organization held the All American Halftime Show, headlined by rock star Kid Rock, which was supposed to be the conservative answer to the official Bud Bunny show. Representatives of the organization speak of a great success, but its critics report that it was a failed advertising venture.
The new CEO
Eight days after Charlie’s murder, the organization’s board of directors announced that his wife Erica Kirk would be the new CEO. A series of television appearances followed, where she tearfully referred to her husband as a “martyr” and spoke of continuing his legacy.
Afterwards, however, in her public appearances she began to present an image that did not match that of a widow grieving the very recent loss of her husband. Also, photos of her from a fundraising event at Trump’s Florida mansion began to circulate online, where Erica looked particularly excited.
At an event dedicated to Charlie’s memory, Erica appeared covered in rhinestones from head to toe as she took to the stage accompanied by fireworks, which led many to talk of a party rather than a memorial service.
Her critics began to report that something was off about the whole affair. Erica’s biggest rival, at the moment, is conservative podcaster Candace Owens, who, while at first avoiding openly criticizing her friend Charlie’s wife, has since slowly, methodically and relentlessly begun to dismantle Erica’s public image.

One can agree or disagree with Owens, however no one disputes that the evidence she presents seems authentic. Also, many associates of the organization who, either have already left, or remain, but do not agree with the path it has taken under Erica’s leadership, provide Owens with evidence and evidence that lends even more weight to her accusations.

Perhaps the most incriminating of these is the video recording of a Zoom conversation Erica had with organization officials just days after Charlie’s murder, during which Erica made no secret of her excitement over the increases in sales of hats and t-shirts with Charlie’s photo, as well as the impressive increase in revenue and donations to the organization.
This is a video that is really impossible to watch and not think that Erica, not only does not mourn the loss of her husband, but is almost happy for him.
Many say that every person grieves differently, but it is almost certain that no one has ever grieved the way Erica does.
At the same time, reservations have begun to be expressed on the Internet about the management of the organization’s income, while there are not a few who call on the authorities to control its finances, since, as they argue, its activities go beyond the scope of non-profit organizations.
Also, information has come to light that many associates of the organization want to be fired and summarily removed for daring to criticize Erica.
