The president of the Evangelical Parliamentary Front, federal deputy Gilberto Nascimento (PSD-SP), stated that the (PT), from the Acadêmicos de Niterói samba school, in the , had a criminal mockery against evangelicals.

The president of the evangelical front also says that the Lula government should value evangelicals as “the segment that works most on social issues”. In his opinion, the parade helps to worsen the PT member’s bad image among religious people.

“People who watch end up connecting the two situations. The president’s advisors knew what was going to happen,” he says.
