IR: Revenue opens consultation on the residual refund batch; see who gets it

A Federal Revenue opens this Friday (20) at consultation of the residual income tax refund batch referring to February 2026. The system will be available from 10 am.

The batch consists of 204,824 refunds, intended for priority and non-priority taxpayers, with total value of R$ 578,974,901.07.

The amount will be deposited from February 27th.

Of the total, R$337,697,578.81 will be allocated to taxpayers with legal priority, distributed as follows:

  • Elderly people over 80 years old: 6,632 refunds
  • Elderly people between 60 and 79 years old: 39,290 refunds
  • People with physical, mental disabilities or serious illnesses: 3,264 refunds
  • Taxpayers whose biggest source of income is teaching: 10,735 refunds

Furthermore, the Tax Authorities reported that 127,585 refunds will be allocated to taxpayers who do not have legal priority, but received priority because they used the Pre-Filled Declaration and/or chose to receive via Pix, and 17,318 non-priority refunds.
