What’s going on? Strong earthquake in Bratislava: More aftershocks have been confirmed in these cities!

Hungarian seismologists from the Kövesligethy Radó Seismological Observatory confirmed several aftershocks with an intensity of 1.7 to 1.8 after the earthquake in western Slovakia. Aftershocks were recorded by the apparatus in Šamorín, near Kalinko and in Bratislava’s Petržalka. The observatory reported about it on its website. Kristián Csicsay, head of the seismology department of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, told TASR that the academy has not yet analyzed the data.

Aftershocks were recorded by the device between 1:55 p.m. and 3:35 p.m. CET. The Hungarian observatory also reported the time and place of the earthquake.
