O Palm trees secured classification for the Paulistão semi-final when scoring the Capivarian 4-0 at Arena Barueri, this Saturday (21).
Verdão opened the scoring after just six minutes of the game with , who finished with precision after a free pass in the area. Still in the first half, in the 36th minute, Vitor Roque increased Palmeiras’ advantage by scoring his second goal of the match.
In the final stage, Alviverde maintained control of the game and increased the score with Andreas Pereira, from the penalty spot. The goal that completed the rout came in stoppage time of the match, when Ramón Sosa received a pass from Felipe Anderson, dribbled past the goalkeeper and scored to establish the final score.
The game also marked Palmeiras. The Colombian came on in the 32nd minute of the second half replacing Allan and conceded the penalty taken by Andreas Pereira.

With the victory, Palmeiras adds three more points in the general classification, which will be decisive in the formation of the semi-finals and field matches. This is because the semifinals are determined by the accumulation of points from all previous phases.
The semi-final team with the best campaign faces the team with the 4th best campaign, while those with the best 2nd and 3rd campaigns play against each other. The teams with the best campaign will have control of the field, as the semi-finals will be decided in a single game.
