Frontex does not consider AI advice on “self-deportation” to be a risk application

The AI Act, which aims to regulate the use of artificial intelligence in the European Union, distinguishes between applications with minimal, limited, high or unacceptable risk. Systems that can impact, for example, the right to human dignity, respect for private and family life or the protection of personal data pose a high risk. The EU border agency does not classify advice via AI chatbots on deportations to countries where there is sometimes war or those affected are persecuted to the point of death as a high risk.
