Will the accumulation of US men and material in the Persian Gulf, in the neighborhood of Iran’s few allies and in traditional American bases, be enough to lead Tehran to prefer peace to war? And if this happens, will it be limited or total? And to what extent can this accumulation of risks benefit the poor Iranian protesters?
