Cortina d’Ampezzo – After the expected gold medal in the Olympic slalom, Mikaela Shiffrin is heading for her sixth overall World Cup victory. The US ski icon has recently found it difficult to look far beyond that. “I feel like I’m approaching some kind of transition in my career, but I don’t know what that will look like and I don’t know how to express it,” Shiffrin said. There is still a lot to be done immediately. “It’s a big goal for me to fight for the overall World Cup.”
