Coritiba announced this Monday morning (23) the signing of right-back JP Chermont. The 20-year-old arrives on loan from Santos until the end of this season.
A Itatiaia found that the agreement does not provide for a purchase option. Furthermore, Santos can request Chermont’s return, if they feel necessary, before the end of the loan.
“The 20-year-old right-back arrives to reinforce our team this season. JP was in the squad and has been called up to the Brazilian Under-17 and Under-20 teams”, wrote Coritiba in the announcement.

Revealed in 2024, the full-back has played 52 games for the club’s main team — with two goals scored and five assists distributed. JP Chermont’s contract with the São Paulo club is valid until December 2027.
