Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL), pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, is expected to participate in an event organized by the right on Avenida Paulista, in São Paulo, next weekend. The information was confirmed to CNN by the senator’s advisors.
Last week, the parliamentarian published a video on social media in which, together with several other politicians, such as the PL leader in the Chamber of Deputies, Sóstenes Cavalcante (RJ), and federal deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG), calls for the demonstration.

The opposition has used the motto “Wake up, Brazil” when referring to the movement. They list criticism of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and ministers Alexandre de Moraes and Dias Toffoli, of the STF (Supreme Federal Court), among the motivations for the protest.
