The president of the PT, Edinho Silva, called for an offensive against (PL) and in a speech to party leaders, called for the mobilization of PT activists.
The statement was made at a meeting of the CNB (Construindo Um Novo Brasil), the majority group of the PT. A party response to the Atlas/Bloomberg survey,
Edinho spared no criticism of Jair Bolsonaro’s son and said that it is necessary to show voters who Flávio really is. “Flávio is the essence of Brazilian ultraconservative fascist thought. If we don’t tell the Brazilian people this, he will be the palatable candidate,” he stated.
The president of the PT called for an offensive against Flávio, demanding more mobilization of militancy and an offensive on the networks.
The stance shows the change in tone of the Workers’ Party in relation to the former president’s son. Behind the scenes, PT members admit concern about Bolsonaro’s rise in the polls.
The PT will use the banner of social justice in the campaign. At the meeting, Edinho stated that Flávio Bolsonaro is a friend of the financial market elite and those who are against the end of the 6×1 scale. Without mentioning the Master case directly, he stated that the scandal was not created during the Lula government.
“They have a professional structure, but no robot debates more than a militant. We are going to win these elections in politics”, he concluded.
