According to Slovak President Petr Pellegrini, the Middle East deserves real peace. The head of state declared it on the social network in connection with Saturday’s Israeli-American attack on Iran. According to Pellegrini, the Slovak Republic is firmly convinced that international disputes must be resolved through diplomacydialogue and within the United Nations.
“It is important that the conditions for a peaceful life exist in the Middle East – without a nuclear threat, without terrorist groups, without threats to destroy and eliminate countries,” appeals the president. Lasting peace, based on the trust of all the countries of the Middle Eastaccording to Pellegrini, can only be achieved through diplomatic solutions.
Explosions were heard in Iran on Saturday morning after a joint Israeli-American military intervention. They were reported from several places, including Tehran, Isfahan, Koma, Tabriz and Kermanshah.
