Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree imposing sanctions on ten Russian transport and logistics companies that supply the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by Russia and provide logistical support to the Russian army.
As the British station BBC reported on Saturday, the sanctions concern companies that import dual-use goods to Russia and use the infrastructure of the Ukrainian Post Office (Ukrpošta) in areas under Russian military control.
Night drone attacks
In the meantime, the Ukrainian armed forces announced that the Russian army sent 106 drones and one Iskander-M ballistic missile to Ukraine on Saturday night. Most of the drones were shot down or neutralized, but six hit their targets and fragments of the drones fell to the ground in seven locations.
As a result of attacks by the Russian army in the last 24 hours in Ukraine, at least five civilians lost their lives and several areas suffered material damage, Radio Sloboda (RFE/RL) reported.
Victims in different areas
Four victims are reported from the Suma region. According to the local governor, Oleh Hryhorov, two senior women were killed in an attack in the Jampiľ district, and two men lost their lives in the city of Vorožba in drone attacks on cars. Several people were injured.
An 86-year-old woman died in the Zaporozhye region, local governor Ivan Fedorov said. After the Russian attacks, Olexandr Prokudin, commander of the military administration of the Kherson region, reported eight wounded. Another seven people, including two children, were injured in the Kharkiv region and one person in the Dnepropetrovsk region. Three civilians were injured in parts of the Donetsk region under Ukrainian control, regional administration commander Vadym Filashkin said.
