St. Brieuc – Sebastian Ofner and Joel Schwärzler each reached the finals of ATP Challenger tournaments on hard courts on Saturday. Ofner beat Clement Chidekh 3:6.6:3.6:4 in the semifinals of the event in St. Brieuc, Brittany. In the final, his first since June 2024 at ATP or Challenger level, the 29-year-old Styrian will again face a Frenchman in Pierre-Hugues Herbert. Schwärzler’s opponent in the final in Lugano on Sunday is the Hungarian Zsombor Piros.
