On vacation in Dubai, Pedro Marinho Falcão, a lawyer, was left with no way to return home and says that the support from the Portuguese State is not enough. The hotel where he is was evacuated for three hours.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, however, guarantees full support to the Portuguese.
Mafalda is in Abu Dhabi with her family. Having spent 11 years in the UAE and now with three children, Mafalda says it is too early to consider leaving the country.
The government has, however, received four dozen requests for repatriation from Portuguese in Israel, two of which also arrived from Iran. However, there are still 11 Portuguese identified in Tehran who, until now, have not requested any type of help.
