Fábio Luís Lula da Silva, known as Lulinhason of President Lula, told people close to him that he traveled and stayed in Portugal com bills paid by Antônio Carlos Camilo Antunes, the “INSS Bald”. The information is from the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo.

Lulinha traveled to the country to visit a cannabis production factory for medicinal purposes, but denied that talks had progressed or that he had received money from the lobbyist. Careca is being investigated for alleged billion-dollar embezzlement in a pension fraud scheme.

A Lulinha’s defense denies that he has links with INSS schemes and says that Lulinha was not a partner nor received money from Careca from the INSS. “We will provide clarifications on the facts to the STF, the appropriate forum for the investigation, which is why I consider it inappropriate to bring forward the discussion of factual matters in the public press forum”, says the defense note.

The lawyers also claim that “Fábio has no relationship with the INSS scheme, he only found out about Antonio Camilo Antunes’ involvement after the press exposure, he was not his partner, he did not provide services to him and he did not receive any amounts”.

Mutual friend

According to Estadão, Lulinha says she met Antunes through a mutual friendRoberta Luchsinger. She is also investigated by the PF. She approached Lulinha after running unsuccessfully for state deputy in 2018, and offering to donate R$500,000 to Lula during Operation Lava Jato, in which the president’s accounts were blocked. The donation was prevented by the courts.

Estadão did not locate Roberta’s defense. Careca from INSS did not want to comment.

In relation to Careca, Roberta would have met him at the Ministry of Healthaccording to the Metrópoles website. He wanted to offer the services of World Cannabis, his medical marijuana company. The company denies the link.

Antunes wanted to buy a place to produce the plant in Aveiro, Portugal. On that occasion, then, he would have traveled with Lulinha to see the space. The president’s son told interlocutors that he intends to admit that he made the trip and that Careca paid for the visit.
