The Minister of Planning and Budget, Simone Tebet, stated this Tuesday (3) that she remains optimistic about Brazil when commenting on the result of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of 2025. According to data published this Tuesday by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the country’s economy registered growth of 2.3% last year.
“GDP in 2025 grew 2.3%, maintaining the expansion trajectory in recent years. Agro was the highlight, with an increase of 11.7%. We remain optimistic about Brazil, which has demonstrated the ability to overcome internal and external challenges to remain on the growth path”, wrote the minister.
The 2025 result was in line with the average of the analysts consulted by Projeções Broadcast, with a range that varied from 2.1% to 2.6%.
