Residents of Retiro dos Artistas appear as characters from “Bridgerton”

Os residents of the Artists’ Retreata complex in Rio de Janeiro that houses people who worked in the world of arts and need refuge in old age, appeared this Tuesday (3) in humorous images made with AI inspired by the characters from the series “Bridgerton”.

“And since the season is hotter than ever and everyone is just loving it, we decided to join in too. We transformed ours into true characters worthy of a high society ball, with the help of artificial intelligence,” says the caption.

The images portray the artists, Maestro Mirabeaux, Flora Purim, Kari Lage, Sônia Zaguri, Adonis Karan, Piucha, Aloísia Zaluar, Vera Moraes, Pedro Paulo Castro Neves, Rita Maia, Mauro Continentino and André Luiz Privot.

What needs help and was created 106 years ago in Rio de Janeiro. Founded in 1918, the place offers housing and assistance to actors, dancers, costume designers, makeup artists, musicians, producers, among others, and depends entirely on donations and volunteer work.

Current residents include actress and former star Iris Bruzzi, 90, (“Belíssima”), singer Flora Purim, 83, and actors Rui Resende, 87, (“Roque Santeiro”), Jaime Leibovitch, 77, (“Alma Gêmea”) and Silvio Pozzato, 67, (“Pantanal”).

Recently, actor Marcos Oliveira, 68, (Beiçola from “A Grande Família”), was thrilled to be welcomed into a home at the organization.
