The Israeli military ordered the evacuation of a large area in southern Lebanon on Wednesday and urged residents to leave the area south of the Litani River. The zone to be evacuated includes the historic Mediterranean city of Tire with around 60,000 residents. Including the surrounding areas, at least 200,000 people live there.
