Nubank and Inter Miami announce long-term partnership

Agreement includes stadium naming rights and brand exposure on the shirt from August 2026

The announced this Wednesday (March 4, 2026) a long-term partnership with the MLS (Major League Soccer) club that has Argentine Lionel Messi as its main highlight. The agreement includes the naming rights for the team’s new stadium, which will be called Nu Stadium.

The arena is part of the Miami Freedom Park complex, under construction in the city of Miami. The opening is scheduled for April 4, 2026. The stadium will have capacity for 26,700 fans and will be used for Inter Miami games and other events.

The agreement also projects the display of the Nubank logo on the back of the club’s shirt. Sponsorship enforcement will begin in August 2026, following the implementation of a new advertising space format in MLS. Here is it (PDF – 7 MB).

According to Nubank, the partnership is part of the company’s international expansion strategy in the United States. In September 2025, the company applied for a national banking license from the OCC (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency). Conditional approval was granted 121 days later.

Inter Miami is controlled by a group of investors led by Jorge Mas and former player David Beckham. The club’s squad includes players such as Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez and Rodrigo de Paul.

Activations and spaces in the stadium

The partnership includes brand activation actions and experiences for fans within the stadium and the Miami Freedom Park complex.

Nubank will have two spaces on site. The Nu Club will function as a hospitality area for around 770 people, overlooking the players’ access tunnel to the pitch. Nu Plaza will be a public space with common areas and a big screen for events.

Complexo Miami Freedom Park

The stadium is part of the Miami Freedom Park project, a complex under development with approximately 530 thousand m².

The development includes areas for commerce, restaurants, entertainment and offices. The project also includes hotels with a total of 750 rooms, as well as public areas and spaces for events.

The complex also includes Jorge Mas Canosa Park, a public park with approximately 234 thousand m².

Construction of the project began in 2023. The opening will take place in stages from 2026, starting with the stadium and part of the public areas.
