Lagoa announces public competitions for 37 vacancies

Lagoa City Hall announced the opening of several competitive procedures for the recruitment of workers under an employment contract in public functions for an indefinite period, according to notices published in the March 4, 2026 edition of the Diário da República.

In total, 37 jobs are up for competition, distributed across different organic units of the municipality.

According to the municipality, Notice No. 4746/2026 determines the opening of a common competitive procedure to fill 31 jobs in the career and category of operational assistant, destined for the Organic Logistics and Maintenance Unit.

According to the city hall, these places are intended to reinforce teams responsible for logistical support tasks, maintenance of equipment and municipal infrastructure, contributing to the normal functioning of services.

Vacancies for water activities

Notice No. 4747/2026 provides for the opening of a bidding procedure for six jobs, also under contract for an indefinite period.

The vacancies are distributed across the careers of technical assistant and operational assistant, for the Organic Aquatic Activities Unit, with the aim of ensuring the functioning of municipal infrastructures dedicated to these activities.

Functions include technical support tasks, customer service and monitoring of activities carried out.

Management position in the technology area

Notice No. 4748/2026 was also published, referring to the opening of a competitive procedure for a 3rd grade intermediate management position, destined for the Technology and Information Service.

According to the municipality, this function aims to ensure the technical and functional coordination of an area considered strategic, in a context of increasing demands in terms of administrative modernization, systems management and technological support for municipal services.

The jobs put up for competition correspond to the municipality’s permanent needs and will be filled under an employment contract in public functions for an indefinite period, in accordance with current legislation.
