The President of the United States, Donald Trump, said this Thursday, 5, that Iran’s air and sea forces have been eliminated, as American and Israeli attacks continue to target the Persian country’s military infrastructure.
“We are destroying Iran’s missile and drone capabilities every hour,” the president said at the White House, after claiming that Iranian air defense batteries and more than 21 ships had been destroyed.
The president also asked religious leaders and members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard to desist from continuing the conflict and surrender. Trump said Tehran is contacting Washington asking how to move toward a deal, but that it is “a little too late” for that.

“We want to fight more than they Iran wants (…) I ask that Iranian diplomats around the world ask for asylum and help us shape a new Iran,” he said, stressing that a possible new Iranian leadership would not threaten the US again.
Regarding Cuba, Trump said that the island wants an agreement with the US and that a resolution is “a matter of time”, but that the Americans’ priority at the moment is to end the conflict with Iran.
