Popular Marquis presenter Janka Hospodárová (49) has been an animal lover and a staunch vegetarian for more than 20 years. The presenter regularly visits various shelters in Slovakia and at the same time calls on her followers on social networks to support such facilities through collections.
In late October 2024, she posted a powerful photo of two adorable dogs looking sadly from behind a fence. “The muse kicked me… “I’ve been living in a kennel, on straw and an old carpet for years. I have almost zero prospects, people like brand-name dogs more. Do you think that one day someone will convince them that they will find the greatest treasure in me? Maybe I have a faint hope, but I’m not counting on it anymore.”“, she motivated people to adopt.
She herself is the owner of several four-legged pets that she has from the shelter. And her family grew again when she and her partner Ľuboš recently visited the shelter in Brezno. “Today was a difficult and special day, I went to the shelter to adopt a female cat taken from a breeder. My beautiful Ashley, whom I fell in love with at first sight from the video. It captured the enormous fear and terrible life experience of the taken ferrets,” she revealed what her plans were.
However, they changed quickly. “However, I left with Alicia. A little golden bear. He’s a beautiful and sweet guy (he doesn’t know TV, stairs, hills, hygiene habits), but I still can’t stop thinking about my dream Ashley.
