Linz/Szekesfehervar – Villacher SV became the seventh team to reach the quarterfinals of the ICE Hockey League on Friday. The Vienna Capitals, on the other hand, have to play a deciding match against Szekesfehervar, as they suffered a 1-1 defeat in Hungary in the second pre-play-off duel with a 3:7 defeat. The VSV, on the other hand, also won the second duel with the Black Wings Linz and, after a smooth 5:1, is now waiting for its quarter-final opponent, who will be determined on Sunday evening using a “pick”.
