Thionville – The Styrian Sebastian Ofner is in the final of a tennis challenger in Thionville/France. On Saturday in the semi-finals he defeated the top seeded Frenchman Hugo Gaston 6:4,6:2. In the final, fourth-ranked Ofner will face 19-year-old Norwegian Nicolai Budkov Kjaer (No. 6) on Sunday (3 p.m.). If Ofner wins the first comparison with the ranking 150, he will consolidate the top 100 status he achieved by reaching the final. He last had it at the beginning of 2025.
