Moraes’ wife denies receiving a message from Daniel Vorcaro

Lawyer Viviane Barci, who had a contract with the founder of Banco Master, says she did not receive messages on the day the now former banker was arrested in 2025; This denial weakens Moraes’ version of the episode

Lawyer Viviane Barci de Moraes released a note on Saturday (7 March 2026) in which she denied having exchanged messages with the founder of Banco Master on November 17, 2025, the date on which the founder of Banco Master was arrested for the first time for Operation Compliance Zero. Viviane is the wife of Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court.

“Dr. Viviane Barci de Moraes informs that she did not receive the aforementioned messages”said the lawyer’s office in a note sent to media outlets regarding Vorcaro’s messages. with fees set at R$ 3.646.529,77 per month for 36 months, which would result in a total of R$ 131.275.071,72 at the end of the provision of services – it is not known, however, whether the contract was maintained or not after the arrest of Master’s former controller.

Viviane’s note denying having received messages from Vorcaro weakens her husband’s version of the episode. Moraes denied on Friday (March 6, 2026), in a statement produced by the STF Communication Secretariat, that he had been the recipient of messages from the former owner of Master. He said there were indications that these messages were archived in digital folders – with files compiled by the Federal Police – along with contact files that were not his.

In one of Vorcaro’s communications, the former banker asks the interlocutor: “Any news? Did you manage to get news or block it?”. The PF believes that this message was sent to Moraes on November 17 last year, at 5:26 pm. Moraes denies this and uses the argument he gave in the material seized by the PF, the text is not related to him.

The archive of this message from Vorcaro (“Any news? Did you manage to get news or block it?”), in fact, in the collection of part of the data extracted from Vorcaro’s cell phone. But these two folders were created by the PF system that pulled the data from the Master’s founder’s device. The message image “Any news? Did you manage to get news or block it?” It is both in a folder with the contact form of Senator Irajá Abreu (PSD-TO) and in another folder with the contact form of Viviane Barci, as shown in the following images:

Folder in the data collection that the PF sent to the INSS CPI with 2 files: 1 is Vorcaro’s compromising message before he was arrested and 1 is the card with Senator Irajá’s contact details. For Moraes, this would be an indication that the message was for the senator

Moraes' wife denies receiving a message from Daniel Vorcaro

Folder in the data collection that the PF sent to the INSS CPI with 3 files: 1 is Vorcaro’s compromising message before he was arrested, 1 is the card with contact details of lawyer Viviane Barci, Alexandre de Moraes’ wife and 1 is notes of lawyers’ names on what appears to be a napkin

Moraes suggested in his official note that Vorcaro’s message, as it was in folders with other people’s contact files, would indicate that these would be the recipients. It turns out that there is no relationship between the way the message was archived in the data extraction system used by the PF and the address to which Vorcaro sent his texts.

UNDERSTAND THE CASE

Records from Vorcaro’s cell phone on November 17 last year indicate that the minister was the recipient of several messages from the now former banker. The text with a question from Vorcaro (“Any news? Did you manage to get news or block it?”) was sent at 5:26 pm on November 17, 2025, a few hours before the then banker was arrested by the Federal Police.

The PF concluded that the interaction between Vorcaro and Moraes took place through the creation of messages in the “notes” application on the cell phone. When the text was ready, Vorcaro took a screenshot of the device and sent this image to the magistrate’s WhatsApp address, configuring this file to disappear once read by the recipient.

It turns out that Vorcaro forgot to delete the image of his message (the screen capture), which was saved in his cell phone’s photo album. The PF recovered these images, which have the exact dates and times they were produced. These dates and times coincide with the dates and times of the messages that are registered as sent and deleted on Vorcaro’s cell phone with Moraes as the recipient.
