Young people with disabilities do internships at PSP: traffic division welcomes inclusion project

Manuel, Gilberto, Filipe and Tiago are the four young people who help the authorities take care of documentation and even cars.

Four young people with disabilities are interning at the PSP Traffic Division in Lisbon, in an inclusion project that promotes the integration of students with special educational needs.

Manuel Mozart, with trisomy 21, and Gilberto, with cerebral palsy, are two of the interns who, twice a week, help with administrative tasks.

In addition to Manuel and Gilberto, Filipe and Tiago, with cognitive impairment, are also part of the initiative, which includes activities such as organizing documents, washing cars and even caring for plants.

The internship, which is carried out in collaboration with Colégio São Tomás, values diversity and inclusion in the work environment.
