They annoy you that visit your apartment in spring without asking? If you want to avoid these uninvited guests, you do not have to use products containing chemicals. Instead of harming these otherwise beneficial octopuses that help fight mosquitoes, discourage them from visiting your home.

There are simple home remedies that people use for this purpose. One of the most popular tricks to scare them away is to spray window and door frames with cheap mint oil for about PLN 7.

It is worth using peppermint oil for spiders because it effectively discourages them from visiting your apartmentand at the same time it does not harm them, unlike many chemical agents.

Intense scent has a repellent effect on spidersso they tend to avoid places where they can smell it, although for humans this aroma is very pleasant and refreshing. However, arachnids cannot stand it, and the extract itself is not expensive.

It costs a few zlotys, so you can prepare a homemade peppermint oil spray at any time. It only takes a moment. You need to prepare: 1 glass of water, 15 drops of peppermint oil and a spray bottle.

Pour the oil and water into a bottle, mix and spray the finished preparation on window frames and doors. You can also spray it on corners and strips skirting boards. It is worth repeating the treatment every few days so that the scent becomes noticeable.

You can also soak cotton balls with peppermint oil and place them in places where spiders most often appear. e.g. in cabinets or on the windowsill. Thanks to this, the smell will last longer and you will get rid of the problem.

If you don’t have peppermint oil at home, You can use another clever method to get rid of spiders. Sprinkle some wherever you see cobwebs.

You can make a spray similar to the one with peppermint oil and spray it near cabinets, corners and shutters. The smell of cinnamon is also irritating to arachnids and safe for animals.
