The federal deputy Guilherme Derrite, pre-candidate for the Senate since he left the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat to resume his mandate as federal deputy for the PP and deal with the so-called Antifaction PL, he commented this Monday (9), at Young Panon the results of the survey carried out on the dispute for a seat in the Senate in São Paulo.

“When we analyze the different scenarios, it is clear that there is a significant electorate that seeks firmness in confronting organized crime and coherence in public action. If our name appears in the leadership it is because this agenda resonates in society, which can no longer tolerate leniency towards criminals”, he stated.

The Minister of Planning, Simone Tebet (MDB), Federal Deputy Guilherme Derrite (PP) and the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Marina Silva (Rede), appear ahead in the dispute for a seat in the Senate in São Paulo in scenarios tested by Real Time Big Data research. According to the survey, Simone Tebet appears with 16% of voting intentions, while Guilherme Derrite and Marina Silva register 15% each.

A Real Time Big Data survey interviewed 2 thousand voters in person between March 6th and 7th. The margin of error is two percentage points, plus or minus, with a 95% confidence level.

Allies of the parliamentarian assess that the scenario with several competitive names in the right-wing camp could favor the electoral strategy. The group’s expectation is that the conservative camp will be able to win two seats in the Senate for São Paulo.

Guilherme Derrite left the Public Security Secretariat temporarily in 2024 to report, in the Chamber of Deputies, on the bill that ended the “leaving” of prisoners. In December 2025, he left the position permanently.
