State deputy Eduardo Ribeiro expressed gratitude for the sanction of Law 4,777, by the Government of the State of Acre, which established the School Material Card Program, in the session this Tuesday, 10th, at the Legislative Assembly of the State of Acre ().
“This law will be of great value to our students, our population and local businesses”, recalled Eduardo Ribeiro, regarding the sanction of the device by Governor Gladson Cameli, which took place on Monday, the 9th.
“Here is this record of thanks to the State government and thanks to the Department of Education, because now, it will be possible to apply the school material card, a little card so that these students can buy their material through a registered network”, reiterated the parliamentarian.
The law, authored by deputy Eduardo Ribeiro, will benefit more than 130 thousand students from the state public secondary and elementary schools. In addition to benefiting children and adolescents, it will boost commerce in Rio Branco and in municipalities in the interior of the state. The resources will come from budget allocations from the state Education department.
Tributes to women – In allusion to International Women’s Day, deputies also paid tribute to deputies Maria Antônia and Antônia Sales. Eduardo Ribeiro was tasked with rewarding fellow parliamentarian Maria Antônia with a bouquet of flowers, while deputy Pedro Longo paid tribute to Sales.
