The senator (PL-RJ) criticized the president (PT) for giving up on going to the right-winger’s inauguration as President of the country.

“Lula was very small with this stance, he cannot live with people who think differently than him. Chile is an important commercial partner of Brazil, it can be an outlet for the Pacific Ocean, with the bioceanic corridor. He stops defending the interests of Brazilians and puts a personal issue, a tantrum, a grudge in first place”, he told journalists on the steps of the Chilean Congress, in Valparaíso.
Nominated as a pre-candidate for Bolsonarism to run against Lula, Flávio said that the PT member has “hatred in his heart” and resentment.

This Wednesday (12), Flávio also defended to the Chilean press the innocence of his father, the former president (PL), arrested for an attempted coup d’état.
“He is very strong, has a very strong mind and is very aware of what is happening in Brazil. We will work to get him out of this situation as soon as possible, and justice will be done with President Bolsonaro.”
