The company began assembling the equipment that will make up the future grain processing industry aimed at . The structure is part of the Agroindustrial Hub that is being implemented in the capital to benefit the production of rice, corn and beans grown by farmers in the region.

This Friday morning (13), Mayor Tião Bocalom visited the site to monitor the progress of the installation of the machines and the progress of the work. The project received an investment of around R$20 million, with the municipality’s own resources, destined for the construction of the agro-industrial warehouse and the purchase of equipment.

Once in operation, the industry will allow producers to process grains with modern technology, adding value to products grown in the field and expanding marketing opportunities.

The structure should serve not only farmers from Rio Branco, but also producers from nearby municipalities, such as Senador Guiomard, Bujari, Porto Acre and Acrelândia, as well as cities in the Alto Acre region.

According to the city hall, the implementation of the industry is part of a broader strategy to encourage rural production, which includes opening branches, mechanizing productive areas and encouraging planting.

The Family Farming Agroindustrial Hub is expected to come into operation by the end of March, with the capacity to process tons of grains per hour and contribute to strengthening the rural economy and local food production.
