Members of the Cooperative can now participate in the 2026 Assembly, a period in which the main directions of the Cooperative are discussed and defined. Voting began completely digitally on Wednesday, 11th, and remains open until March 30th.
During the Assembly, members have the opportunity to analyze the previous year’s financial statements, participate in the election of representatives for the Board of Directors and deliberate on the distribution of results. In the cooperative model adopted by Sicredi, each member has the right to one vote, regardless of the value of the capital invested.
The Assembly is considered one of the most important moments of cooperativism, as it allows members themselves to participate directly in the institution’s strategic decisions.
“Unlike a traditional bank, at Sicredi the member is the owner of the Cooperative. The Assembly is the moment in which we exercise full democracy, where each member has the right to vote and help define the direction of the business, contributing to the development of their own region”, explained Cooperative Development analyst, Vitória Elizia.
In addition to monitoring management results, associates can also contribute to defining how the resources generated will be applied, strengthening the more than seven social programs developed at Sicredi Biomas.

Participation can be done simply through the application, accessing the “Assembly” option in the home menu. For those who have difficulties in the digital environment, physical agencies are also prepared to offer support during the voting period.
Sicredi is a cooperative financial institution with more than 120 years of history, bringing together millions of members across the country. The system’s principle is participatory management, in which the members themselves are responsible for deciding the cooperative’s path and monitoring the application of resources.
In the case of Sicredi Biomas, the Cooperative operates in the western region of Mato Grosso, throughout the state of Acre and in the south and southeast of Amazonas.
