Deputy published video from 2021 in which Bolsonaro imitates shortness of breath and questions whether these are “scenes” of hospitalization
The federal deputy (PT-MG) mocked the former president’s emergency trip on Friday (13.Mar.2026) (PL) to the hospital in Brasília, where he was with bacterial pneumonia.
In his profile on X, Correia an excerpt from an old video in which Bolsonaro imitates a person short of breath.
“Can anyone tell me if these are scenes from today with the former president feeling unwell in the hospital? Good luck, quick recovery!”wrote the deputy in the caption.
Jair Bolsonaro has been hospitalized since Friday after experiencing a high fever, chills and a drop in oxygen saturation in the prison of the 19th Military Police Battalion of the Federal District, known as Papudinha.

The video in question is from March 2021, during the covid-19 pandemic. On that occasion, Bolsonaro the former Minister of Health Henrique Mandetta and the ministry’s recommendation to seek hospital only in cases of shortness of breath.
Last month, the deputy had to make a public retraction on his social networks due to of Bolsonaro with the former president of Roberto Campos Neto, and the owner of Banco Master, Daniel Vorcaro.

After starting the medication, Bolsonaro showed a small clinical improvement, but still reported nausea, headache and muscle pain typical of an infectious condition.
