Iran threatens to end the war only after guarantees and reparations. He accuses the US of attacks from Emirati bases

Iran’s head of diplomacy warns against the spread of war in the Middle East. He claims that the conflict will not end without guarantees and reparations from the US and Israel.

  • Iranian Minister Abbas Arakchi called on states to exercise restraint and not escalate the conflict.
  • Tehran conditions the end of the conflict with the US and Israel on the guarantee of non-repeated attacks.
  • Iran claims that US bases in the region are used for attacks against it.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi on Sunday called on other countries to refrain from any steps leading to the escalation and expansion of the war in the Middle East. According to him, the conflict with the United States and Israel will end only when Tehran is assured that its attacks will not be repeated. TASR informs about it according to the report of the AFP agency.

Arákchi announced in the interview that Tehran has “sufficient evidence” that US bases in the Middle East have been used for attacks against Iran. “We have enough evidence: satellite images and electronic surveillance show that US bases in this region are being used for attacks,” he said. According to him, the missiles from Friday to Saturday that hit the Iranian island of Khark were fired from bases in the United Arab Emirates.

Conditions for ending the war

“This war will end when we are convinced that it will not be repeated and that reparations will be paid. We experienced this last year: Israel attacked, then the United States … regrouped and attacked us again,” Arakhchi recalled, referring to Iran’s conflict with Israel and the US in June 2025.

The war in the Middle East, which began with a joint US-Israeli attack on Iran on February 28 and continued with Iranian retaliatory attacks on US and Israeli targets in surrounding countries, entered its third week.
