Football Series B starts next Saturday (21) and in addition to promising a competitive competition with teams like Fortaleza, Ceará, Sport, among others, it will be the edition with a record in revenue and media exposure.
This financial and visibility increase has the fingerprints of the FFU (Futebol Forte União) and will help clubs in the development and maintenance of their structures, in addition to promising a technical increase in the competition as a result.
The bloc sold the broadcasting and advertising rights for 18 of the 20 participating clubs after long negotiations between the parties. The exceptions are São Bernardo and Náutico, which sold their properties to the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation).

Record Revenue
In 2024, the CBF negotiated the broadcasting rights and advertising signs for the competition and secured R$9 million for each club. This number represented a drop of R$1.5 million compared to the previous year, when sales were also carried out by CBF.
In 2025, the FFU has already negotiated TV rights and Series B advertising boards for 18 participants, obtaining R$14.5 million for each, which meant an increase of 60%.
In 2026, also with negotiation through the FFU, this value rose to R$15.5 million per participant.

In 2027, with the introduction of the new revenue sharing model, the forecast will be R$17 million.
This new format promises a significant increase in revenue from TV broadcasts: 85% for Series A clubs and 15% for Series B teams – generally the split is 90/10 or even less for Series B teams.
Right of transmissions
In addition to increasing revenue for the teams, the agreement with the FFU allowed the Disney group, a global giant with a market value of US$179 billion, to become the main holder of the broadcasting rights for Series B.
In 2026, the competition will have four broadcast partners on open platforms, a record among all editions: Goat, XSports, Sportynet and Rede TV!.
The FFU also generated the largest sign contract in the history of Série B, reaching more than R$4 million per club in 2026. Previously, this property had been negotiated for R$30 million by the CBF for the entire competition.
With the work of the FFU, Series B began to adopt a model similar to that of the major football leagues in Europe, with centralized production of the broadcast signal and its own graphics package.
