The actress Giovanna Lancellotti revealed on Sunday night (15) that he is betting on “The Secret Agent” for the Best Cast statuette during the Live Oscar CNN Brazil.
Questioned by the presenter Mari Palmathe artist stated that her dreamy Brazilian side and her critical analysis coincide in the bid for the big winner of the joint category.
“In this category, I bet a lot on ‘The Secret Agent’. I think the cast is all great… Alice Carvalho only has a few scenes and was praised all over the world. I think the film really shows how the combination of this cast was perfect for the result of the film”, stated Giovanna.
Lancellotti also added, saying that it is essential to have a united cast and a direction that is aware of each particularity of the group of actors. The guests on the broadcast reinforced that this is one of the most emblematic categories of the award.
Although he claims that his patriotism “speaks louder”, Silver Pereira bet on “One Battle After Another”starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
“In this film I couldn’t decide who the protagonist is. In my opinion, I believe that perhaps ‘One Battle After Another’ really takes the statuette”, added the actor, joking that he would be criticized for going against popular opinion.
