United States President Donald Trump used his social networks last Tuesday (5) to publish art that once again suggests that the United States border and immigration enforcement agency change its acronym from ICE to NICE.
The proposed new name, which would be National Immigration and Customs Enforcement, would create an acronym that means “legal” in English. At the time of this report, the agency continues to be called United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (which stands for ICE).

The idea gained traction after the president commented “Great idea. Do it” in response to a suggestion from an internet user last month.
On Monday (27), White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt had already indicated Trump’s enthusiasm for the change, and the government even presented a poster with the new brand hours after Trump’s publication
Despite the release of the image, there is still no official definition on the implementation of the new nomenclature.

ICE is one of the main government agencies in the United States today, due to its immigration detention policy.
Continues after advertising
The body, however, has been the target of challenges for methods considered brutal, receiving criticism even from sectors that make up the president’s support base since the beginning of operations last year.
