Controversial ICE commander Bovino retires early at the age of 55

Washington – Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino, who has become known as a symbolic figure of US President Donald Trump’s radical migration and deportation policies, turns 56 on March 27, is retiring early at the end of March – one year before the mandatory retirement age of 57 for CBP officials. The New York Times and the right-wing internet portal “Breitbart” had Bovino’s withdrawal confirmed by himself.
