Three children were injured in a traffic accident that happened on Tuesday morning in Rudňany village, Spišská Nová Ves district. The Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service (KR HaZZ) in Košice informed about it on the social network. All emergency services are on the scene.

- Firefighters provided pre-medical first aid to the injured children on the spot.
- The section of the road is partially restricted by a passing road for police documentation of the accident.
“Shortly before 7:00 a.m., Spišskonovo firefighters were dispatched to a traffic accident in the village of Rudňany, in which at least one person was injured. Upon arrival at the scene, they discovered that three children were injured out of the four participants in the accident.” said KR HaZZ. Firefighters immediately provided them with pre-medical first aid, carried out the necessary fire-fighting measures on the vehicle and defined the scene of the accident.
Due to the documentation of the traffic accident by the police, according to the fire department, passage through the section is currently restricted. They ask drivers to be extra careful and respect the instructions of the intervening units.
