In the center of Bratislava, an unconventional advertising mascot for the famous Bratislava rolls has been attracting the attention of passers-by for several years. In front of one of the businesses stands a distinctive sculpture in the shape of an oversized bagel with eyes, a top hat and white gloves, which welcomes visitors directly upon entering the business.
The colorful and playful statue acts like a smiling character and immediately became a place where tourists and locals like to stop and take photos with it. Although the sign is supposed to resemble one of the city’s most famous sweet specialties, people immediately associated it with something else – feces. PHOTO can be found in the gallery!
Many people reacted to the footage, which immediately began to spread through various groups on social networks, and there were also funny comments. “It could be interpreted differently. My first association was sausage, I’d rather not mention the second,” wrote Martin tactfully. “The official mascot of Bratislava? Sorry, but it looks like a ho**o,” added Samuel.
Other commenters again with a smile they added that even bad advertising is advertising and some even compared it to the cocoa tree from the popular marquee series Horná Dolná. “How golden it is, but I guess the roll looks different,” thinks Kamil. “I think the most important thing was to get attention, and that was achieved.
