The figures from the Youth Democracy Monitor are not surprising, but they are certainly alarming: Less than half of 16 to 26 year olds say that the political system in Austria works well. In addition, only a third of the members of parliament feel adequately represented. This was the result of a foresight survey with around 1,000 participants.
