The one that affected passengers in , was suspended after the company Ricco paid back wages to workers. The confirmation was made by the president of the Union of Passenger and Cargo Transport Workers of Acre (SINTTPAC), Antonio Neto, to ContilNet.
According to Antonio Neto, the movement was closed immediately after the outstanding amounts were settled. Salaries should have been paid on the 6th, but the delay lasted for almost a week, even after attempts to negotiate with the company.
“We negotiated until the 12th and received no payment. That’s when we decided to stop”, he explained.
With the transfer carried out, the service returned to normal. However, the union remains alert: a new impasse could emerge in the coming days if the 40% salary advance, scheduled to be paid subsequently, is not met. “Otherwise, we do not rule out new measures in the coming days”, he concluded.
