The magistrate had ordered Monark to refrain from doing “publication, promotion, replication and sharing of fraudulent news (fake news)” on the actions of the STF and the TSE (Superior Electoral Court).

On March 31 of this year, the Public Ministry of São Paulo took public action against Monark in February 2022. In 2022, the influencer said during a Flow Podcast program that “the Nazi had to have the Nazi Party recognized and that if someone is against Jews, he has the right to be. Despite having made a mistake and being “very drunk”Monark was from the company he had helped create. Several advertisers also have contracts with the brand.

In a note released by Free Speech Union Brasil, Monark declared that the MP has recovered his sanity and that the demonstration for the dismissal of the action is a victory for the country. “I’m pleased that the Public Prosecutor’s Office has regained its sanity, because clearly there was no attack on any Jewish community or anything like that. It’s a victory for Brazil too – a victory for the possibility of discussing delicate and important topics”he said. Read (PDF – 319 kB).
