Flávio Bolsonaro: I don’t want to anticipate a plan without needing to – 03/19/2026 – Politics

The senator (PL-RJ), pre-candidate for the Presidency, stated this Thursday (19) that he feared bringing forward unnecessary projects with the release of his government plan.

as to Sheet showed this Wednesday (18), given his growth in electoral polls, to prevent the proposals from being used to attack him.

The intention of Flávio’s campaign was to present the government plan on the 30th. The date, according to the senator, was a suggestion from the governor of São Paulo, (Republicans), who had not yet confirmed his presence at the event.

“We’re going to talk to Governor Tarcísio. He suggested that we make a presentation on the 30th. We’re still going to talk. There’s no postponement, but I’m concerned about wanting to bring forward a lot of things unnecessarily,” said the senator before the Lide group meeting in Rio de Janeiro.

In the view of campaign members, Flávio is experiencing a good moment, with the launch of allied candidates in the states, and there is no need for a new fact, such as the publication of the program’s guidelines — which could attract market support, but also cause noise.

The most recent Datafolha survey, released on March 7, in a second round simulation: the president has 46% compared to 43% for his rival.

Initially, the campaign planned to use the government plan to show that Flávio is a consistent candidate and that he would come to power more prepared than his father, with a clear program of what would be done in the first days. The example used in the campaign is the administration of the Argentine Presidency, but with a less radical plan.

The government plan would serve, in the PL’s initial vision, to give traction to the pre-candidacy of former president Jair Bolsonaro’s eldest son, who was chosen by his father as successor despite resistance from the center, agribusiness and the financial market, who preferred Tarcísio to be the right-wing candidate.
