The Valdemoro Costa Neto ticket is the perfect synthesis of everything that is wrong with the national right. It’s a synthesis of a coup d’état and Sergio Moro trying to get a mouthful.
Starting with Flávio Bolsonaro: on February 21, 2022, the coup senator published a text in this Sheet with the title.
In this important historical document, the senator said that “it was only if Moro had complied with the law that the Supreme Court would not be forced to recognize his abuses of authority”. And he concluded: “Moro ended Lava Jato, betrayed the Brazilians and, if it weren’t for his vanity, Lula would still be in prison today.”
At the time, Moro was trying to establish himself as a “third way” candidate. And Flávio was on good terms with the STF after the ‘rachadinhas’ case with the militia member’s family.
The article had its merits: Lula’s trial was actually annulled because Moro and Dallagnol conducted the trial in a fraudulent manner. But Lava Jato was only buried when Flávio’s father became president and appointed him to the Attorney General’s Office.
Moro, in turn, accused Jair of arranging to, look how small the world is, free Flávio Bolsonaro from prison.
In his resignation speech, Moro said that this type of equipment did not happen under the PT governments. But that didn’t stop him from, in the 2022 election, supporting Jair, who he said would do more, against Lula, who he said would do less.
But the icing on the cake for the Valdemoro Costa Neto ticket is certainly Filipe Barros, candidate for the Senate.
On November 30, 2022, Filipe Barros called for a coup d’état under article 142 in the National Congress, in a meeting attended by the head of the coup camp in Brasília, one of the terrorists who tried to blow up Brasília airport on Christmas Eve and one of the leaders of the truck drivers who stopped roads in defense of the coup. Since he was not arrested, Filipe presented bill 4395/2024, which aimed to increase FGC coverage to R$1 million. The proposal was exactly the same as what Ciro Nogueira presented as a constitutional amendment (amendment 11 to PEC 65, of 2023).
I don’t know why Filipe Barros’ name isn’t always mentioned alongside Ciro Nogueira in reports about Master. Until then, since November 30, 2022, I don’t know why he is free. Neither he nor Flávio.
In any case, it is sad to see a person destroying what little reputation he still has by mixing with this type of banditry. It is irreparable damage to a biography that, let’s be honest, was already quite controversial. A line has been crossed, a further step has been taken, from which it is no longer possible to return. Everyone makes mistakes, politics requires uncomfortable alliances, but there comes a time when it’s no longer possible. What a disappointment, Valdemar.
