Iran threatens to completely close Strait of Hormuz if Trump attacks power plants

Iran’s army threatenedthis Sunday (22), completely close the strategic Strait of Hormuz case or American President Donald Trump attack the country’s electricity plants.

“If the United States’ threats regarding Iran’s power plants are realized, […] the Strait of Hormuz will be completely closed and will not be reopened until our destroyed plants have been rebuilt,” army operational command Khatam Al Anbiya said in a statement broadcast on state television.

Iran this sea route has practically closedbut a relatively few ships were able to transit therenearly 5% of the pre-war volumeaccording to analysis firm Kpler.
