A eighth round of the Brazilian Championship ended with changes at the bottom of the table and with Palmeiras even more leaders. See below a summary of what happened in the weekend round.
Choque-Rei for the leadership
Jhon Arias scored the goal that guaranteed the victory for Alviverde just five minutes into the game.
Choque-Rei was worth the championship lead, since, before the match, São Paulo and Palmeiras had the same 16 points. With the victory, Alviverde isolated themselves in the lead with 19 points.
Corinthians x Flamengo busy

Changes to the Z4
